It’s that time again! We like to get our spring cleaning done a little early and make room for the new fabric collections (including Fall and Holiday fabrics) that we start receiving in the Spring.

If you made it over for a last year you already know that there will be lots of goodies out for sale. Those of you who weren’t able to stop last time – get ready to snag some great finds at our Sidewalk Sale! If someone kept a count of the words we use most in the store they would surely include beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, incredible, creative, and fabulous. This is how we feel about the products we receive and create on a daily basis – with an ever-growing assortment of beautiful fabrics, gorgeous patterns, lovely accessories and notions, incredible and creative customers, and fabulous finished quilts and other sewing projects.

Every once in a while, however, something comes in that we truly fall in love with and need new words to describe. That’s what happened when we opened this box…

We think these Wooly Charms speak for themselves, with each of the five 5×5 pieces of hand, over-dyed wools exhibiting a stunning variation of shades and patterns. The packs are available for sale in our store for just $8.50 each.

~MYSTERY CLASS (enrollment includes 1 class meeting)

Class Date: Saturday September 17^th 6 p.m. to Midnight

Enrollment Fee: $35

Book your space early for our Christmas Mystery Class! Class will be held on Saturday, November 12^th from 6 p.m. to Midnight, and includes 3 quilt patterns, fabric for one of the patterns, and a full dinner for just $65! This is a great chance to get started on a project for the holidays and would make a wonderful gift. We hope to see you there!

Customers who have been visiting our shop in Dunedin for years may remember our beloved wife/sister/mother/sister-in-law/daugher-in-law/friend Connie, who lost her battle with cancer three years ago today. What we miss most is her giving and caring nature. On this day and always we remember her and cherish the abundance of love, friendship, and smiles she brought to our lives and in her work at Rainbow’s End!

Our friend Bridget Abrahamson will be honoring the memory of Connie and countless others who have battled breast cancer, and is aiming to raise at least $2,300 for breast cancer research and community programs through the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure event in Tampa Bay between October 28^th and 31^st, 2011.
